COLOURFUL ROMSEY
THE HUNDRED - PUBLIC HOUSE ( Bishop Blaize)
LOVE LANE - PUBLIC HOUSE (The Old House at Home)
Picture Below:
Bishop Blaize
By Romsey standards, this is a middle aged pub, since it appears to date from the 18th century. The name of the Bishop Blaize is a reminder of Romsey’s association with the wool trade. St Blaize was the patron saint of woolcombers. The present house was built in 1708.
