The Star, The Horsefair

The Star began its life as the Swan and Dolphin, under which name it can definitely be traced back to the 1790’s.

The Vine public house

The Vine (formerly the New Inn) is another old, timber framed building with a brick façade and a large bay window that has survived because the property is set back from the street frontage. It is now a private house.
